Information about our worship

There is a wide range of worship at St. Helen's and St. Paul's. Our services are listed under News and Events.

St. Helen's
Our 9.15am Traditional service is a lovely, quieter service, using Common Worship or the Book of Common Prayer, with hymns led by our organist, and by our choir on second and fourth Sundays.

Our 10.45am Contemporary service is a lively, creative and informal service, suitable for all ages. It has a worship band and uses a variety of liturgy.

'Families at 4pm' is our creative and interactive worship for all ages with sandwiches and cake that takes place on a 2nd Sunday.

Our 6pm prayer consists of 'Soul Space', a time of quiet prayer and meditation the first and third Sundays. 4th Sunday 6-7pm prayer ministry team meet in the prayer chapel, St. Helen's.

Our mid week Holy Communion service is every Wednesday at 11.30am in the Waterton Chapel,(entrance by the Green door, further down the path).


St. Paul's is a village church which provides worship on Sunday and Tuesday.

Our 11am service on Sunday is in a simple, traditional style, with good preaching and warm hospitality afterwards in the Barnabas rooms.

A Quiet Evening Prayer is offered on the second sunday of the month at 6pm.
