As today's "Earth" day, 🌎 it's worth mentioning how many birds we share the churchyard around St Helen's with. We picked up 11 different species all chirping away at exactly the same time on Good Friday, using the Merlin Bird app. Amazing how their joyful singing adds to the sense of peace and tranquility in such a special place, where folk have worshipped before us for generations.

Today, our walk together through Holy Week takes us to the foot of the cross.
2pm St Paul's: "Reflections at the cross".
4.30pm "Open Air Service at Sandal Castle".
Meet up at 4pm at St Helen's for the walk up to the castle.
